1968 ~ The kindergarten began at 20 Roderick Street and was run by the Uniting Church and named the Central Congreational Day Kindergarten
1974 ~ The kindergarten was affiliated with the Creche and Kindergarten Association of Queensland.
1984 ~ The kindergarten changed its name to Roderick Street Community Preschool and Kindergarten
2009 ~ The kindergarten moved to its current address at 4 Cribb Street Sadliers Crossing with Ipswich Grammar School as Landlords
2020 ~ After many years of negotiations, The Roderick Street Community Kindergarten Association purchased the premises at Cribb St, from IGS and celebrated long and hard!
